Two days ago I had my hair straightened for the second time. The first time being for the SRB Party! I am considering starting to straighten my hair more often.
Opinions people, should I straighten my hair more often… yes or no? :)

What have I been upto…
I haven’t done a blog post in some time now so I thought it’s time to update it.
What has been going on since the last time I wrote a post -
The last post was about the day I had a presentation for the unit ‘Applied Web Design Management’. I received the results and we got 72% for the presentation and 75% for the company website. I was really happy with the results as the unit average was a first.
A couple of weeks after, I also received a result I had been waiting for since March. An exam in PHP which I was dreading, I don’t know how I did it but I ended up getting 89%. Crazy I know! I was shocked myself.
The last two days of my university degree and essentially my education was hectic! I could go into details but lets just say I did the most amount of words and work I have done in my life. Im just waiting on four results now, depending on one result I will know whether I have the possibility in gaining a better mark than expected.
Thats enough about education, what has been going on in my social life *yes, I do have one* :-
- There was the SRB house party celebrating Talals, Hamzahs and Nayabs birthday; it was amazing! Had plenty of laughs and it was good to relax and wind down after studying so much.
- Yesterday I finally completed creating my CV on Adobe Photoshop and converted it to a PDF. Apparently, a pdf cv is much better as you don’t lose the formatting if various companies use different versions of Microsoft Word.
- I have also started applying for jobs, if your a potential employer reading this an online portfolio is currently in progress showcasing work I’ve done.
- How can I forget, Pakistan beat South Africa to reach the Semi Finals in the Cricket T20 World Cup. Yesterday was an amazing day for all cricket fans, Pakistan and England are through.
- I am now about to create a garden bench for mum, I’ll update this post to show you the outcome :) *not that your really going to be interested*
- Future Aims - Create an online portfolio, apply for jobs and hope I obtain an interview. My next blog post will update you with how I progress…

Im sure there is going to be some people out there asking themselves, "What is the point of a blog?", if that’s you then don’t worry I thought that as well years ago.
However, thinking about it now, I see how it is a great way to keep something ‘like’ your own public diary, which can keep everyone up to date with what is happening in your life. I can’t give you any gurantees it will be interesting :P however I will try my best :)
This isn’t the same as any old blog… I mean after all, it is mine, so make sure you read my posts and comment, to make me feel popular :)
